Seems like the Controversial Baard Coal Plant in Wellsville, Ohio can't find private investors to build their toxic plant so they are asking the government for a bailout to get started.
In today's East Liverpool Review newspaper, it was reported the plant is expected to cost $5.5 billion to construct, and Baardson believes the federal government needs to provide incentives for developers to build and operate such plants.
''There's been a fairly large push for incentives,'' Baardson previously said, ''but there's also been a push back by environmentalists.
''The government needs to help the first two or three plants,'' he added.
Maybe Millionaire Charlie Wilson who wants the plant so bad in his district can pony up the money...if he really believes in the plant. What do you say Charlie?
