Title: Proposed Sales Tax: should someone vote yes or no on it?
Post by: Penguin388 on April 19, 2019, 06:50:18 PM
With retail businesses struggling throughout the country, a sales tax could really hurt the ones that are left in Mahoning County.  Funding 9-1-1 and criminal justice services is very important.  Should someone vote yes on the resolution to continue to sales tax?  I am leaning toward voting against it.  Will we be less safe if it is defeated?

Are the ballots not saying "Vote for the tax levy?" like they used to?

No New taxes until we are shown what the old taxes paid for.

Definitely something I agree with.

It's basically saying "No new taxes EVER!"
