Title: Do You Support The Proposed Ohio Gasoline Tax Increase?
Post by: jay on February 22, 2019, 06:08:42 AM
Governor DeWine has proposed an 18 cents per gallon gasoline tax increase.

What is you opinion?

Is 18 cents per gallon too much?

I support absolutely no gasoline tax.

I don't care what they say they are going to do with the extra 18 cents per gallon, they'll spend some of it on giving out raises, some to boost their healthcare and retirements, a big chunk adding sound barrier walls beside freeways while hoping that nobody complains about bad roads and bridges for a couple of years because they think the work is being done then when those complaints start back up they'll just add another quarter per gallon and start over.

Government will never have enough of our money. NEVER.

Mahoning County wants to put its own tax on the residents to pay for road repairs.

We could face higher taxes from both the county and the state.   :P

Ohio Gasoline Tax                                28 cents per gallon

Proposed Ohio Gasoline Tax Increase    18 cents per gallon
