Mill Creek Park was once funded solely by the residents of Youngstown. About twenty years ago the park became the Mill Creek Metroparks funded by the residents of Mahoning County. The Board of Commissioners for Mill Creek Metroparks is made up of three members who all happen to be residents of Boardman. Judge Mark Belinky recently suggested that the park board should be expanded to five members in order to give representation to residents from other parts of Mahoning County.
Question
Should the Mill Creek Metroparks Board be expanded?
I think it should be funded by Youngstown again.
Remember all the complaining about the formation of the Metroparks by some residents of Boardman and the other suburbs. Now Boardman residents are running the park.
Would "they" be willing to give the entire park back to Youngstown?
