A severe wind and rain storm hit the downtown area this afternoon at about 3:30 p.m. Water flowed down the hill from Wick Avenue and flooded Central Square and the adjoining streets.
Cars had a difficult time traveling south through Central Square
I blame the Farmer's Market crew.
The back and the east side of National City Bank were blocked by the high water.
As cars passed, there were waves forming on the "shores" of Lake Federal Plaza.
Jay,
Nothing compares to a visual.
Thank you for always being there...camera in hand.

LOL!
Thanks for the pictures Jay. I was at work during the storm and I did not know how bad it was until later. I stopped by Wick Park tonight and saw a lot of trees down. However, that will not stop me from going to the concert in the park tomorrow.
