This meeting was organized by a private citizen.
I don't believe it is part of the Youngstown 2010 program.

Do we know who? I'm getting phone calls from the public as well as Economic Development Department. Is there a contact number? Thanks.

Event Coordinator is Tracy Lindbush (?). It's an independent sponsored meeting and may having a Repbulican Party tie to it as far as sponsorship. That's about all I know (and that could be off). This information was from the event booking dept. at the Chevy Centre.

Charlie Staples is a very entertaining businessman.  It was worth going to the meeting just to hear him speak.

Observations

Youngstown's minority community has the same problem as Youngstown in general.  We do not support our locally owned businesses.

About a dozen attendees claimed to be in business.  However, most were CEOs of non-profit organizations.

In the opinion of many panel members, the SBA is useless.
