The Stambaugh Chorus of Youngstown, Ohio seeks a Director to launch our 2008-2009 season. Our adult, mixed chorus rehearses once weekly to prepare traditional classical and contemporary literature to present at up to three concerts yearly. We have opportunities in place for collaboration with area orchestras and choruses for the upcoming season.
The Director is responsible for all artistic decisions and works with our volunteer Board of Directors to ensure the success of the chorus. Salary is negotiable and dependent upon education and experience. The ability to rehearse the Chorus sans accompanist is a plus. This is a non-benefit part-time contract position.
