$75,000 is way too high a price. I don't know where these contractors get their figures from, but they are only replacing existing windows into their sashes. There are practically no material costs. 370 windows are to be reinstalled. Thats $202 per window. All the work can be done from inside, so no scaffolding is needed. These people were the LOW BIDDER too. Another bid came in at over 200K, or $540 per window. I would probably have bid around $25,000 and thought I was robbing the man at that!
