Special Events Are Planned
2008 YOUNGSTOWN TREE DAY!
YOUNGSTOWN TREE DAY! will be held this Saturday at 9:30 a.m. near the flagpole at Wick Park (corner of Park and Pennsylvania Avenues). This year, The City of Youngstown will celebrate its designation as the newest Tree City USA in Ohio. City Forester, Dave Sturtz, will provide a demonstration of the i-Tree computerized system that will be used to survey and inventory Youngstown's street tree population. This is an exciting step in our 'gray to green transformation' outlined in the Youngstown 2010 Citywide Plan.
