A newly completed Cortland Veterans Memorial attracts veterans and members of the community alike as a dedication ceremony is held. It took place on Saturday at Point Park on North High Street in Cortland and the cold and wind couldn't keep supporters away. The $172,000 memorial has a waterfall, and at it's center is a kneeling soldier honoring the fallen.  A separate wall holds the seals of all branches of the Nation's military.
