Fairbanks Capital Corporation has just closed on the sale
of three apartment buildings in the Wick Park neighborhood:
1119/1121 Bryson Street (twelve units, probably 2
bedrooms each)
860 Pennsylvania Avenue (probably eight to ten one
or two bedroom units"
and
271 Park Avenue (this building and the one around the
corner on Pennsylvania are "Sisters" and nearly identical
twins).
The sale price was $36,000 according to the Mahoning
County Auditor's website. Apparently, the North Side
Citizens Coalition was the former owner of these
apartment buildings.
Mark Thompson of the North Side Citizen's Coalition is
involved with the renovation project for the twin sister
apartment buildings and the cleanup of the grounds
and interior of the buildings has already begun.
Electrical power will be restored to the buildings any
day now.
GOOD things are coming to the Wick Park neighborhood in
the near future!
