Title: 400 Jobs Lost

This story has been in the news for the last few days.  Johnson Rubber Products has closed its plant in Middlefield, Ohio.   Four hundred workers have lost their jobs.  The plant made molded rubber products for the automotive industry.

If we had renewable energy manufacturing plants and companies that required blue-collar workers, some of these people could be back to work shortly.

I know someone that worked at this plant (office actually) and this company's demise was mismanagement. Very sad actually. This person also had to look outside the area to get another job (northwestern PA).
