In case you don't know, this organization has been around for over 10 years. Any 7th warder is invited to join the group. We work on civic activities such as neighborhood improvement.
One of our big projects was the Ipe Field Kids World. If you drive by on a "good" day, you will see children enjoying this playground. There was city Parks Department cooperation but this was mainly achieved by grassroots efforts of this group. This is just one of our projects.
Even if you don't wish to join the group, come to our meetings and see what we are all about. This Thursday is our annual Christmas meeting. We will have entertainment by the Youngstown Christian School choir and refreshments will be served. Location is the church at the corner of Everett and Irma Avenues near Sheridan and Midlothian Boulevards.
