Great news for valley auto workers - LORDSTOWN WILL GET 2 NEW CARS TO BUILD-
Through 2009 Chevy Colbalt and Pontiac G5
Beginning in 2010 Global Gamma 4 door hatchback
Beginning in 2011 Global Alpha (2 models)
What is the projected fuel efficiency rating for the Gamma and Alpha cars? GM has to make cars which get more miles per gallon of gas.
That's what I'm waiting to see. I agree with you that the cars must be fuel efficient, and at a reasonable price. These cars as I understand are also being made in Europe for the European market, or at least they will be, but the details at this point are skimpy.
Here is info on the new GM contract. It's a PDF file.
