Come join us for a Labor Day service
Sunday September 2, 2007
First Unitarian Universalist Church
Youngstown, Ohio
The morning begins downstairs at 9:30 with a short Democracy Now film
describing the history of Labor Day. Be prepared for a lively discussion
afterwards
Then join us upstairs at 11 am for a labor day service entitled,
"Working Class Struggles". We will be featuring a sermon by labor
historian, Staughton Lynd. Pittsburgh's fantastic singer/songwriter,
Mike Stout will be playing a few of his original working-class songs!
A day of:: solidarity, coffee, tea, film, history, poetry, music and
your participation in honest discussion. What more could you ask for to
celebrate Labor Day!
