Title: Good Humor
Post by: Towntalk on July 24, 2007, 02:59:53 AM
One of our local downtown buildings has been nationally honored by Parade magazine and the National Trust for Historic
Preservation as one of only 11 buildings nationally to receive the honor.

Currently Ross Radio, the building was home to Burt's Confectionery and as we all know Harry Burt was the creator of the Good Humor Ice Cream Bar.

The building was nominated by Youngstown architect Ronald Faniro.

Ross Radio, will be accepting the plaque designed by world-renowned designer Massimo Vignelli presented by Parade Magazine in its honor at 10 a.m.

The building is located at 325 W. Federal St. across from the WRTA station.
