Title: Question of the day
Post by: Towntalk on July 06, 2007, 08:17:19 AM
At least four states are looking at legislation that would bar the state or other public bodies from buying or flying flags that are not made in the USA. The highest quanity of American flags sold in the U.S. are made in China.

QUESTION

Is this something that we should consider at the state and local level here in Ohio?

IF you own an American flag do you know where it was made, and IF NOT, would you buy an American flag that was made in China? If so, why?

I won't buy a Chinese made American flag.  However I do not think we need another BS law.  If you care enough to fly the flag then care enough to check where its made.
