Not many people attended the soap box derby today.

You're right.  We went to see the races.  There didn't seem to be more than 70 people there and the majority were related to the racers. 

It was really nice to see these young kids trying their best to win the heats.  We met one 8 year old boy whose first time racing was today!  He got to practice for the first time in the YSU parking deck before the race.  He lost 1 heat but won the second. 

Was this event publicized enough?  I only saw the post here and an article in the Vindi yesterday.
