A few days ago I received a flyer listing the Wednesday evening concerts at Wick Park on the North Side of Youngstown. I noticed two problems.
1. The flyer does not list the start time for the concerts.
2. Doesn't the city park system realize that their concerts at Wick Park (North Side) are on the same day and possibly at the same time as the concerts at the Wick Recreation Area (West Side) in Mill Creek Park?
That's a really good observation. I don't know what the Park Department is thinking. Certainly Mill Creek Park lets us know well in advance about events that they plan, so the Park Department has no excuse for not coordinating their events to other venues since theirs are usually free. Is it too difficult for the exercise of a little cooperation so that we can all benefit?
