It looks as if there will be an Indian Gambling Casino in the valley to be located on County Line road in Lordstown.
The tribe is here to purchase 25 acres for the casino and hotel.
According to news reports, the Chief is a friend of the Governor, and there is a promise that much money will go to the state already awash in red ink, and the prospect of more money coming into the state will hopefully clinch the deal.
This is only the opening stage, and the legislature will have to give it's seal of approval, and as everyone knows there will be oposition from churches.
Stay tuned for later updates.
NOTE:
I posted the Casino news here because as we all know while the bulk of the business will be in Lordstown, people will pass thru Youngstown, and if they see it as an exciting place to go where there's a lot happening, it will mean opportunity for our entertainment district.
