Our City Leaders are struggling to find solutions to cure the most basic woes of Youngstown...Let me explain "It's the Vandalism and House Stripping Stupid!"

Why is it that No leader downtown understands this basic problem?...This symptom is the Number One Killer of Youngstown.  Or is this part of the secret files from the 2010 Plan? The 2010 Revitalization/Urban Plan file that allows for daylight and your face House Stripping of all vacant homes that were inspected by those city Demo guys that are too Fat to get out of the city car to do an objective inspection?

Vandalism and House Stripping is an Industry in Youngstown and when this industry depletes all homes in Youngstown it will move on to claim homes in the adjoining Townships... Vandalism and House Stripping is a serious problem and no leader wants to accept that fact.   Maybe they think that if we Demolish all of the South Side Homes then this problem will go away?  I don't think so!

Property owners are burning their own homes in Youngstown and its OK with our leaders because this equates to a savings of $4,000 plus for the property owner.

YOUNGSTOWN — A vacant house at 216 E. Laclede Ave. was intentionally set on fire around 11 p.m. Monday, the fire department said. The structure was allowed to burn down due to safety concerns. Damage was set at $12,000, a total loss. At 2:15 a.m. today, a garage on fire at 211 E. Dewey Ave. collapsed onto a 1990 Cadillac, which also burned. The cause is under investigation.
