Title: Grocery Stores
Post by: JoyceFarrell on June 27, 2018, 11:27:48 AM
Why there are no full service grocery stores in Youngstown. This armed robbery and beating took place in 2012 at a small grocery store on Youngstown's North Side. Be sure to watch the video from the store's security camera.

The Sparkle Market in Cornersburg is a full service grocery store.

The store has a bakery, fresh cut meat, a florist and a pharmacy.

The store is on the WRTA Cornersburg bus route.

How is that going to help the folks that live in the 2nd Ward? How many 6th Ward folks deal there? Or the 1st Ward? Is a person living on say Jackson Street on the East Side going to take a bus trip to Cornersburg  Sparkle to shop?

The store I deal at has:

1. Full service Meat Department
2. In store bakery
3. Pharmacy
4. Bank
5. Post Office
6. Dry Cleaner
7. Gas Station
8. Florist
9. In store prepared foods
10. Starbucks

They well also do your shopping for you and deliver your purchases to your home for you.

This store is the Churchill Commons Giant Eagle.
