I often see potholes in Youngstown that have a nice brick street underneath.

I would like to see our neighborhoods return to brick streets.

Brick streets are the greatest, as far as looks go. There were only a handfull left when I got my license. There were a couple in Girard and one somewhat yellow brick road in Niles that I remember driving on.
