With the weight of the gear that the police officers have to carry, we believe that they should have parking closer to YPD offices. 

A potential dangerous situation could occur when they are going to and from their cars because they carry their weapons. 

It doesn't make sense.  Is this a bullying tactic during the contract negotiations?  Who are the City Hall workers who are getting the spaces - the new hirees?
