Title: "issues only" ballot for May 2018 election
Post by: Penguin388 on May 02, 2018, 11:26:00 PM
I am going to ask for an issues only ballot because I am not a Republican or Democrat.  I looked at the sample ballot, and I saw many judicial positions.  Will I be able to vote on the candidates running in the judicial elections?  What will my ballot look like?

???

The purpose of the primary election is for a voter to choose a political party affiliation and then vote for a candidate to represent that party in the November election.

An issues only ballot is just that.  You will vote on the statewide issue, a county tax levy and, depending on your location, any local issues.

In the November general election, you will then vote for the Democrat or Republican candidate selected by each political party in the primary election.
