I went to downtown Youngstown last night to see a play at the Oakland Center for the Arts. With all of the hype in the newspapers recently about the new Mahoning Valley Thunder football team, I expected every restaurant to be filled to capacity. The restaurants close to the Chevrolet Centre seemed to be busy. However, many other downtown restaurants did not get their share of the business. As a matter of fact, The Bean Counter, Tomasino's Pizza, and the New Precinct were closed for the evening. The Cedars only had customers at three tables, and two of the parties were later going to the play at the Oakland.
