The local police did nothing in FLA, the FBI failed and the fact that they put up a gun free zone sign just added to the possibility that a young person totally not raised correctly would do something as violent as they've done many times. Yet nobody seems to be trying to change the people that allowed this to happen or even making the schools safer. Unfortunately they seem very happy to try to change the second amendment and blame any organization that supports it.
I also don't understand how so many adults, including the parents, local governments and school systems, are helping the kids attend these marches. Kids have little to no real experience with much, but rather than try to help the young kids from the tragedy get through it and recover mentally they seem to be giving the kids the reason they can't get through a tough time and recover if the government doesn't step in. And heck, as long as we have a bunch of kids that weren't there lets have them share the tough time so their only way to recover also requires government action.
