Title: City To Cut Funding For Events
Post by: JoyceFarrell on March 01, 2018, 05:52:00 PM
Here is a very simple solution: move all the big events to Boardman and say Goodbye to Youngstown. Irishbobcat is right about the downtown Youngstown area.

We are into the third month of the Brown administration and the mayor has not appointed a Downtown Events Coordinator.

I'm all for all the festivals to move to Boardman like happened to the St. Patrick Day Parade and never come back to the city. I also predict that Covelli will end his connection to the Covelli Centre and it will eventually be sold.

Maybe we can get the mayor to move all the downtown festival tents to Boardman in his new SUV.....
