Members of the Rocky Ridge Neighborhood Association will tap sugar maple trees this weekend.

The record setting temperature today (in the 70s) may put an early end to this year's maple syrup production.

When it gets very warm, the sugar maple trees start forming leaves using its own sugary sap.
