Late this afternoon, there was a traffic jam on Overlook next to Chaney High School.
What caused the problem?
School Buses, cars and lack of snow plowing
School buses lined up along the sidewalk next to the school on Overlook. At times, the buses were double parked.
Cars coming to pick up students were parked along the south side of Overlook. Cars should have picked up students in the school's parking lot.
Snow plow trucks failed to remove snow adequately from the corner of Overlook and S. Hazelwood. Instead of removing snow to the edge of the road, the plow trucks left a patch of snow about eight feet out from the curb line. Note: There are no curbs on this side of Overlook.
Traffic was blocked so bad that an in-bound WRTA bus had to divert from Overlook and then drive north on Hazelwood.
This the beginning of the many screwups from the tito Brown adm.
What did Tito do to cause this poorly plowed school zone?
