The Oakland Center for the Arts will hold auditions for the hilarious new comedy, The Book of Liz, by David and Amy Sedaris, on January 29 and 30, from 6 to 8 pm. The show will take place March 30, 31 and April 6, 7,13,14, and will begin rehearsal in February. This production will be directed by Robert Dennick Joki, whose recent works include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) and How The Drag Queen Stole Christmas. The cast requirements are for six men and six women, ages 18+. Actors should come prepared to read from the script and laugh ALOT! Newcomers to the Oakland are welcomed and encouraged.
