Title: Downtown Holiday Parade
Post by: jay on November 19, 2016, 04:29:41 PM
Is it true that each group that wants to be in the Downtown Holiday Parade has to pay
$25?

Asking a non-profit to pay $25 is ridiculous.

I agree with you Jay, these non=profits, especially groups like the 7WCC should not be charged. If it were not for the people from these groups who volunteer their time and money groups like CityScape would have to go out of business.

Never heard of such a thing.....Been in numerous Memorial, 4th of July, and St. Pat's Parades...and have never paid to march!!!!!  Looks like I'll be sitting out this year's parade.....

Maybe the mayor needs the money to pay for the replacement wheels on the new trash cans......

The should offer scholarship help to any group that can't pay---Agree with you JoyceFarrell, small neighborhood groups that want to participate in the parade should not have to pay..
