I have a problem with how the voting was handled.
Before the event even started, there were many voting cards already in the ballot box.  This means that many people voted and were not in attendance to hear the presentations of the four groups seeking the funds.

$5 per vote pretty much screws up the process anyway.

I agree with j some soups were hot and others were cold but they were delicious anyway. The Ballot Box should never been stuff before the presentations something is rotten in Denmark.

I agree that votes should only be cast by people in attendance who have heard all

of the presentations.  In fact, this would ensure that the vote was fair to all who take

the time to prepare for their causes.  I enjoyed the company and the soups and salads

but agree that some of the soups were cold by the time we got to the serving line.
