Title: Lunch Crowds Are Smaller In 20 Federal Place
Post by: jay on April 08, 2016, 06:03:10 AM
There appears to be fewer people eating lunch at the food court in 20 Federal Place.  Some food court vendors claim that VXI opened a large vending room on an upper floor and this is the reason for fewer customers on the first floor.

Considering what VXI pays their employees....maybe they can only afford an 85 cents candy bar.....

VXI is within their right to open a vending machine room for their employees. It gives the employees the option of saving a few minutes of break time, eating (probably) overpriced, (probably) less healthy foods compared to the food court while returning a portion of their pay back to the company store.

Not necessarily a good option, but apparently one they prefer based on Jay's post.

Is it just me, or are lunch crowds getting smaller downtown in general? Federal is almost always dead, Avalon had three people sitting down at noon today, ODs usually has a dozen or so. V2 usually does well.
