Title: Connecticut Avenue Is Falling Apart
Post by: jay on February 22, 2016, 06:55:20 PM
Have you driven west on Connecticut Avenue recently?

Connecticut Avenue west of Schenley is cracking up and many potholes have already formed.  Wasn't this street totally rebuilt a few years ago?

Bandaid fix...they scraped the top coat and put a new one down...but didn't fix the concrete base under it...so of course it's letting the moisture up under that new bandaid layer.  Not to mention they're not sealing the new cracks that are forming...they go by with the hot tar and barely touch any of the cracks...just enough to say they came by.  It's a shame.
