Title: Should The City Pay For Artificial Turf For Rayen Stadium?
Post by: jay on February 04, 2016, 08:52:34 PM
The athletic director of the Youngstown City School System has asked the city to contribute toward a $500,000 project to install artificial turf on the football field at Rayen Stadium.

Do you feel the city should contribute to this project?

I would vote to keep the natural turf.  Astro-turf would be a waste of the taxpayers money and
how hard could it possibly be to spread some weed and feed once a month during the warm
weather months to maintain the grass turf?
