As much as Todd Franko likes to beat his chest and shout the Vindy is a local paper I guess that memo never reaches the sports department.
This morning the YSU mens basketball game from last night was buried on either page 3 or 5 and simply was a picture from the game and a short paragraph about the game.
And what was on the front page? More stories about Johnny Manzel and Ohio State football....stories I can read on the internet.....
Also, I find it interesting that the Vindy no longer sends local reporters to cover YSU football games on the road.....stories from road games at Western Illinois and Indiana State
was from the local papers there....
Maybe Franko needs to read the entire paper daily instead of just his column....
