One family was responsable for the development of the Boulevard Park area back in the 1920's, and that was Warren P. Williamson Sr. and his partners as can be seen by the ad included in this thread. Williamson's likewise owned the land where WKBN would be located. First the WKBN transmitter and towers were built on the Sunset Blvd. site in the 1930's and then in the late 1940's and early 1950 the WKBN studios were moved from their downtown location to the stations present location.
