Maybe the city should increase our water rates to pay larger cash prizes for the top ten runners in each Peace Race event.
WATER SHOULD BE FREE. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY FOR LIFE ITSELF. HEY WAIT A MINUTE, FOOD IS ALSO A NECESSITY BUT WE ARE FORCED TO PAY THROUGH THE NOSE FOR IT. ALSO OUR VERY LIFE IS DEPENDENT ON DOCTORS AND HOSPITALS BUT WE ARE FORCED TO PAY THROUGH THE NOSE FOR THEIR SERVICE.

You can get all the water that you want for free directly from the Mahoning River. What you are paying for is the electricity to pump it out of the reservoir, the cost of the pipelines, the cost of the filtration and the chlorine, the cost of the tests to make sure the water is clean, and all the people who keep the water flowing. Taking dirty water, making it clean and shipping it 30 miles to your bathroom sink is why you pay a water bill.
