Title: In Praise Of Shrimp
Post by: Towntalk on September 20, 2015, 09:51:03 AM
Lo these many years, Shrimp has been preaching reclaiming land on Youngstown's East Side for new purposes such as farming, and has been getting grief not only from some people in our own internet family but the City of Youngstown, and now it seems that his efforts are starting to literally take root judging by the article in today's Vindicator. A commercial farm. Our hats are off to our Ron and to the couple that owns the farm.

The East side is perfect for farming - large tracts of undeveloped land.  I've always though that Ron's idea
for farming there was perfectly sound and he definitely deserves  an "atta-boy" for his efforts.
