Parking Lot Owners To Downtown Patrons .... NO MORE FREE PARKING FOR ANYONE AT NIGHT .... CARS WILL BE TOWED .... YOU WANT FREE PARKING GO TO BOARDMAN!

The only thing I don't get in that article is the part where people claim they had no
warning...


Someone should do a parking survey downtown during busy periods on evenings,
weekends and assess the actual demand for parking.  It would make planning
easier.

That's the first time I've ever seen the sign on the right for $2 up to 20 mins.  Just a guess, but I think that's for the new lot for Water customers only?


But yes, all of the other lots have a sign that reads "NO Free Parking At Any Time. Violators Will Be Towed" that is posted just below or above the price.
Nonetheless, I'm sure that McNally had a boatload of complaints on Monday morning.

The article also said that one of the lots just had paving work done, new lines painted and
that the owner had demolished a building on the property... can't blame them for wanting
to re-coup the costs associated with the improvements.
