Over the last few days, vandals have hit several businesses on Mahoning Avenue during the night.
Any more details on this? Locations?
Several of these were smashed windows and grabbed merchandise.

You learned about this on the Forum 4 days ago.
Absent any details you named no names of businesses just a blind post.
I didn't want to broadcast which businesses were vulnerable so they would not be hit by other vandals before security systems could be put in place.
But that is the very thing that YPD wanted. That is why they released the survalence video. That is why the Police asked folks to keep a sharp eye out for anything out of the ordinary.
:P
Does the Youngstown criminal element really read the MV forums?
You never know....... ;)
Notice in the video how hoodies are used to conceal the face of the criminals. I'm suspicious of anyone wearing a hoodie in warm weather.
I was told today that it was more like 14 businesses that were hit over a period of a few months.
