I love the Butler but they need to do more "cool" events then they currently do.  Take a look at other major museums around the country and they have really neat, regularly scheduled monthly special events, usually with a cash bar.  Museums just can't be open till 5pm, they also need to be open at least one night (Wed/Thursday/Friday) till 8pm.  The Butler needs to focus on cool programming, get people/visitors to come in after 5pm, going to the Butler can be a great "date night."
The same can be said for other Youngstown museums.

I agree that the Butler needs more events, but one thing that is holding things up is the number of sponsors that are available to underwrite more programs. This is true not only with our museums but also DeYor and Stambaugh. When things were going great for Youngstown, Stambaugh had events almost every week featuring great national shows.
