Get Ready StreetScape Volunteers!
It's Time To Plant Flowers To Beautify Youngstown

Saturday, May 30
Arrive by 7:45 a. m.
Check in at the Central Square Tent

Volunteers should bring
*Small Hand Tools
*Shovels
*Rakes
*Hoses
*Buckets
*Wheelbarrows
*Gloves
*Sunscreen
*Insect Repellent
*Beverages/Snacks

A Volunteer & Donor Recognition Party will follow the planting

We are working in our own neighborhood. StreetScape is delivering mulch and flowers to us early Saturday morning.

I saw two councilmembers at StreetScape today.  One was busting his butt and the other was handing out dinner rolls during lunch.

I had the opportunity to plant flowers along Federal Street.  Our team worked steadily for two hours until the automatic sprinkler system kicked on and dowsed everyone with water.

Nate Pinkard was hard at work at Crandall Park both this weekend and the weekend before.
