VERRRRYYY nice..... downtown is not the only area of town that can benefit
from tasteful, attractive signage.  It's often little things like these that show
visitors that some residents take pride in their neighborhood.

There are signs like these nice ones all over
Idea neighborhood has two
Indian trails
Foster vile
Rocky ridge
Garden district
Bears den is getting one
Old furnace area is getting two

Cochran Park neighborhood and Lansingville on the south side.

Crandall Park North on the north side. 

FACT: The Crandall Park North neighborhood sign was the very first of this design.  ;)
I would post it here, but the darn forum says my image is too large, even though it is smaller than the photo above!

Thanks TT.  The top image is our neighborhood sign - the first of its kind in the city.

The bottom one is a sign erected by the Mahoning Valley Historical Society, and is a State of Ohio Historical marker.

It was John Swierz idea, I was told (don't know for a fact) , to add the "A Proud 7th Ward Neighborhood" to the sign.

We in the 7th Ward are as proud as Mama Ducks taking their ducklings for their first swim,so we are. :)
