Who is winning the fifth ward campaign sign battle this week?
It has to be candidate Rapovy. He has a ton of signs placed along South Schenley already.
Pray Rapovy doesn't win
To soon to tell. Lauren is getting her signs ready and Santisi bought a ton of signs
Santisi has a lot of west spiders working for him
Modarelli
Sam atone
Hanni
Etc

do they live on the westside, too?
I've now seen a few Santisi signs but none for McNally, Salata or McWilson.
rapovy is using his signs from his past ytown city council races. he threw out his doorknockers that he regrets. he is furgal with his monies, will he be frugal with ytown city monies?
I saw some Salata signs along Canfield Road. I also received his campaign literature in the mail today.
I saw one McWilson sign on Glenwood Avenue.
Two McNally signs were spotted on one of the streets off of S. Meridian Road.
On my way into work this morning along Bears Den and Old Furnace I saw the following signs
7 Santisi
4 Rapovy and
2 McNally
I see a lot of salata and mcwilson signs on vacant lots on the south side
I'm seeing the salata signs popping up on the west side
Just an FYI. Signs don't vote
The number of political yard signs is more of an indication of how well a campaign has done at raising funds.
I noticed a McWilson sign on the back of a WRTA bus.
That's a waste of money

5th Ward
Youngstown City Council
I think the fifth ward needs a candidates' forum so people could make an informed decision before filling in the blank.
The wscc is having one tomorrow!! Gary davenport was supposed to send out the communications
If there is still one
Will all questions be asked or will all questions be audited?

Although moderated, every question was asked, and answered, at the 3rd ward Candidates forum. :-\
I did not like the way 7th wcc did their debates. The moderator had too much control over the questions.

I would agree with that statement.
I can't believe this. ::)
Someone told me today that she votes for the person who has the most yard signs. :P

The woman running for council has gone door-to-door for a second time in my neighborhood. She must really want to be elected.
She skipped Clarence boles forum and went door to door. Very very smart
Only 25 people showed up for the forum and no if any 5th warders
Plus the last good day of weather was yesterday. It's gonna be cold rest of the week
Who are you folks referring to: [1] Lauren McNally or [2] Cynthia L. McWilson?
Lauren
She needs to pay her father in laws 14k in back taxes
Gee ... two endorsed candidates with tax problems ... but were I living in the 5th Ward, there is no way that I would ever vote for McWilson ... EVER!!!! I would vote for Michael Santisi.
