The local sheet is reporting that Mill Creek Metro Park has acquired two more parcels of land and will return themto nature. Three cheers for the Park leadership. Too bad we don't have the same kind of leadership in the city.
They acquired one in Bears den that the city has been taking care of
I like the plan and it will look more beautiful
The neighbors are being pains about it though
It only makes good common sense for the park to annex neighboring properties where
demolished homes and buildings once stood....if the properties have no other use waiting
for them then it's the right thing to do.
If some sections of Glenwood were more vacant on both sides, I would say relocate the
street a little to the east, along with the western border of the park. Once these lands have
gone back to nature they're virtullay zero maintenance.
