There were also about four other theaters that were Vaudeville and Burlesque theaters that did not show movies so were not included in the Cinema Treasures listing, there also were three movie theaters in the 1960's and '70's that were strictly pornographic theaters that have not been posted due to the nature of their programs.
Liberty Theater in Lowellville didn't make the list?
Sure did my friend ... Lowellville has its own page at Cinema Treasures.

Super, I talked with one of the guys that converted the building from the theater into what is now Ross's Market....And lots of the old timers told me about sneaking in or getting caught misbehaving in one way or another....
My estemed friend, since you were brought up on the South Side,do you have any memory of any of the theaters that were on Market Street?
Never went to a theater until after I was in the military with the exception of one midnight premiere I believe in Bordman Plaza; and a few drive-ins. As a teen I was way too busy for movies. Spent most my weekend nights at the Rollercade....

The list only covers theaters that showed movies, but there were also several others that didn't show movies but were live theaters such as Stambaugh Auditorium and the Youngstown Playhouse and theVictorian Players Theater.
Two more theaters have been added to the list bring the total to 58 movie theaters that have come andgone in Youngstown.
