Title: Downtown Project
Post by: Towntalk on February 03, 2015, 05:22:00 AM
I'm thrilled to my very bones at the news that North Phelps may be closed to car and truck traffic between West Federal and West Commerce Streets and turned into an outdoor entertainment area. Why am I so excited and bubbling over with great joy? Every year, weather permitting that section has been shut off for outdoor events so now the temporary will become perminent. Isn't that just too wonderful for anything? I move that it be named The Anne Gillam Entertainment Plaza, and two bronze placks be commissioned with her image on them to be placed on each of the two entrances in her honor.
