Title: YFD - Fire at the MVR

YOUNGSTOWN, OH -  On Monday, June 14, 2004 at 8:39 p.m., the Youngstown Fire Department was called to the MVR Club at 410 E. Walnut in the Smoky Hollow section of Youngstown. Dispatched to the scene were Engines 6, 12, and 9, Ladder 24 from the south side and Battalion 2. Squad 33 responded from the lower west side where they and other companies were already busy at another incident. Engine 6 arrived on the scene and reported flames showing from the rear of the MVR Club Restaurant, a popular local attraction. According to local news reports, the MVR Fire was contained by fire crews to the back patio area. The MVR said they would by open for business the following day. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
